I have dreamed of "going on safari" in Africa as long as I can remember.  So often when you finally realize a long held dream like that it turns out to not meet the expectations you have set for yourself.  I can honestly say that it was even better than I had dreamed.

I loved every minute of every day!  It's hard for me to try to talk about a favorite experience without starting on day one and ending with my getting back on the plane to go home.

Dropping my "charging Kudu" at 15 yards (actually he was just trying to get to heavy cover after my first shot broke his shoulder and took out his heart at 70 yards.  Unfortunately we were hiding in the bush!).  The Blesbok and the big male Kudu that came close to stepping on us (you would think that we would learn to quit trying to crawl up on animals).

Thanks to all of you for everything.  Pieter and Lizelle, thanks so much.  I would say that I hope you are having a good time, but how could you not?
